I have a wonderful workroom in the lower level of our home. I like to keep things organized and labeled so it's easy to find everything. I have a long curtain rod to hold all my ribbon, plastic see through bins for small items, a shelve for fabric, (that I have organized by silk, cotton, chenille, etc.) It's set up in an L-shape, with my sewing machine close at hand and lots of good lighting!
Tell us about your "ideal" workshop/sewing room/studio:

What would you be doing if you were not creating primitives and/or folk art? Going crazy, because creating really makes me relaxed, happy and focused!
What is the best thing about creating primitive/folk art? It lends itself to a lot of self expression - you can be whimsical, primitive .......whatever mood I'm in.
What is the most frustrating thing about creating primitive/folk art?
How many hours do you spend a week creating? 20-40, depending on the week.
What is your favorite room in your home, and why?
How do you manage your time between family, home, and creating?
What other Primitive Artists influence and inspire you? Nicol Sayre is wonderful. Also, Bonnie Jones does beautiful work!
Thanks for taking the time to share a little about "you" with us Nancy!
